Families Are Need To Reinforce Gospel Principles

Story Question

At the end of each scripture story there is a question icon that plays a "thought provoking question".  These questions are intended to help children to internalize and apply the principles taught in the story.  Discussing the answers to these questions is meant to stimulate thoughtful conversation between children and their family members.

Family Home Evenings

Currently we are working on a Family Home Evening to go with each story and game. Each Family Home Evening reinforces the principles taught in the story, questions and games. Sacrament

Coloring and story pages can be printed out and used during sacrament meeting and other off-line activities. Printed content may only be used for personal use.  Any other use is unlawful and infringes on copyright law. These activities are in the Children's Pages menu under Coloring Pages and Activities.

Games: Using Technology to Inspire Children

Since the restoration of the Gospel, the flood gates of Heaven have been opened and knowledge has been pouring out ever since.  Men and women all over the world have been inspired in how to advance technology.  This has greatly increased the ability for the gospel to be brought to the four corners of the earth.  More and more of the earth's people are being exposed to the gospel and learning.  Computers are one of these great advances that have changed our lives.  It's due to this technology that we can bring you this project.

Children and parents have many websites they can choose from where children can enjoy learning while playing games.  My own children have been aided in learning their ABC's and other important things through online gaming.

Scriptures 4 Kids has embraced this technology and gaming.  We have created, what we hope, will be fun and educational games that will not only be fun, but will help your children apply the scriptures to their daily lives. Each game teaches gospel principles from the scriptures.  At the end of each game thought provoking questions, relating to the principles taught in that game, are asked so that children will have help applying those principles to their life.

While the scripture reading will be free to all children, the cost of developing games makes it impossible for us to offer this as  a free benefit to all.  However, it is our goal to make this membership cost as affordable as possible.  For a few dollars a month, these wonderful games will be available to everyone.  Through donations and membership costs we will be able to continue to develop Scriptures 4 Kids into a site that will offer the Old and New Testaments, Doctrine and Covenants and The Pearl of Great Price.
